The new White Pine Trail State Park is now open from Belmont to Cadillac, Michigan. This is Michigan's newest, narrowest, longest state park. At this point, even though it is a state park, there is no sticker or park pass required. However, all rules of the Michigan State Park system will be in effect.

When completed this 92 mile trail will run from Comstock Park to Cadillac Snowmobiles are the only motorized vehicles allowed on the trail and only are allowed north of Russell Road.

This rails to trails project winds through beautiful forests, past farm fields and there are even some ponds and streams along the way. Great stops include the Osceola Inn in Reed City...don't miss the bakery! The trail takes riders through the towns of LeRoy and Tustin and enters right into the network of Cadillac Trails and the established resort community of Cadilllac.

The trail also intersects the Pere Marquette trail in the crossroads town of Reed City. The Pere Marquette trail runs from Baldwin to Clare.

The White Pine Trail provides new access to Cadillac and the wonderful trail system of 200 groomed trails in the Cadillac. It is sure to be a hit with snowmobilers.
